VERDASEE ANNOUNCES NEW MOBILE 1-WATT UHF GEN2 / 433 MHz DUAL RFID READER – April, 2013
VerdaSee Solutions announces the North American availability of a customized version of the rugged Motorola Solutions’ WORKABOUT PRO 3 handheld computer that integrates an advanced 1-watt UHF Gen2 RFID module reader into its rugged design.
This new Gen2 reader distinguishes itself on a variety of levels. Its power and improved antenna design provide superior speed, efficiency and range with regard to tag acquisition and eliminate the issue of non-targeted reads caused by backplane RF signal. The reader also features an ergonomic and modular design with backward and forward compatible programmability, which significantly broadens its applicability.
Additionally, the new reader hosts a 4 port solution that provides for individually controlled power. This allows end users to soft-switch between UHF and 433 MHz, dependent upon application, without requiring redundant systems.
The integration of the various leading-edge technologies provided by VerdaSee and its technology partners is a testimony to VerdaSee’s commitment to provide the market with a highly intuitive, ruggedized, yet flexible Gen2 solution designed to address the needs of the mobile workers in any environment.
